Volunteer Appreciation Week 2017
April 23 – 28, 2017
Volunteers are the backbone of our many programs and services here at NCEFT. Quite simply, NCEFT could not function without our corps of dedicated adults and youth who are committed to making a difference and giving generously of their time. Last year, volunteers donated over 7,500 hours of service. No matter the job – sweeping the barn or side walking during a hippotherapy session – every moment volunteers spend with us is valued, appreciated and meaningful.
While everyday around here is volunteer appreciation day, for one special week during April we take the time to give a little extra love to our volunteers.
Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
Save the date for the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on Thursday April 27, 2017 6p – 9p at NCEFT. If you are a volunteer, please come and enjoy an open Taco Bar, yummy desserts and beverages. Please RSVP on the signup sheet in the Volunteer Room.
Horseback Riding Drawing
As a special treat, we will be holding a drawing for 3 lucky volunteers to have a horseback riding lesson with Marty Raynor, NCEFT Barn Manager, on a NCEFT horse! Volunteers earn one drawing ticket for each hour worked between February 15, 2017 and April 15, 2017. Don’t forget to record all those hours! The drawing will be held at the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.
